A bit more on Terry Tempest Williams

A bit more on Terry Tempest Williams SUWA's overarching goal is to protect Utah's remaining nine million acres of wild desert lands — lands owned by the American public and administered on our behalf by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). To this end, activists from Utah and across the country have compiled their own exhaustive fieldwork in a citizens' wilderness proposal now pending in congress. The proposal, America's Redrock Wilderness Act, will preserve one of the world's most unique landscapes — where towering buttes, sweeping plateaus, and intimate canyons are enveloped by a rare and breathtaking silence.
