WHAT IS ASPAC? (Ateneo Schools Parents Council) ASPAC is the first duly constituted association of parents of college students in the Ateneo de Manila University It was founded by Fr. Raul Bonoan, S.J. in 1985 and serves as a means for parents to participate in the process of guiding their children’s educational growth, in partnership with the school.
MISSION and VISION ASPAC aims to strengthen the working relationship of the parents, students, teachers and the Ateneo community. It is envisioned that this working relationship will ultimately benefit our children in terms of • a HIGHER QUALITY EDUCATION • STRONG MORAL FIBER • a TRULY ALIVE SPIRIT OF SERVICE for others and the country • MORE RESPONSIVENESS to academic concerns and student affairs
A.S.P.A.CACTS AS A VEHICLE THROUGH WHICH… • Ateneo parents and legal guardians get actively involved in their children’s education and growth. • Ateneo parents and legal guardians can continue to grow and reach out to community organizations. • Ateneo parents and legal guardians can bond with other parents, Administration, Faculty, and Students.
MEMBERS ALL PARENTS and LEGAL GUARDIANS of the students of the different SCHOOLS OF LOYOLA are automatically members of ASPAC. Upon registration of their children, they are assessed minimal membership dues per semester.
1 HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED? Volunteer as your YEAR LEVEL REPRESENTATIVE nominee Eight (8) members representing two (2) from each school.
2 HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED? Parents and legal guardians are enjoined to volunteer as COMMITTEE MEMBER in any or all of the following Committees ACADEMICS Spearheads ASPAC’s search for the Outstanding Teachers and takes lead in discussions on Academic Concerns amongst Parents, Students and Administrators.
2 HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED? Parents and legal guardians are enjoined to volunteer as COMMITTEE MEMBER in any or all of the following Committees COMMUNICATIONS, PUBLIC RELATIONS and PUBLICATIONS Handles all ASPAC Publications and takes charge of disseminating information of all ASPAC activities.
2 HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED? Parents and legal guardians are enjoined to volunteer as COMMITTEE MEMBER in any or all of the following Committees GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS Takes a stand on government issues which affect the studentry and handles all external issues referred to the Ateneo Parents Sector in aid of legislation.
2 HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED? Parents and legal guardians are enjoined to volunteer as COMMITTEE MEMBER in any or all of the following Committees SCHOLARSHIP Provides scholarship grants and guidance to students qualified by Office of Admission and Aid (OAA).

Act as a liaison/coordinator between the students, the school administrators and the ASPAC on any matter that may affect the students; He/She shall be an automatic member of a standing/special committee of his/her choice; Bring to the attention of the ASPAC Board of Directors any matter concerning student problems within the jurisdiction oa the ASPAC; May conduct meetings with the parents/students in the Loyola School he/she represents as the need arises; and Perform other functions as may be designed by the Executive Committee or the ASPAC Board of Directors.
