Project Progress • Steering Committee was set up – 2 persons from Аktau international sea commercial port attended SASEPOL Steering Committee meeting in Brussells on December 18, 2009 • National Working Group members have been nominated and submitted • Regional Working Group members have been nominated and submitted • A training plan in English and Russian has been worked out and distributed among ministries • Training was held in Baku - 4 persons from Maritime Administration participated in OPRS level training held in Baku in May, 2010
Project Progress • Kazakh Lawyer started implementation of ACTIVITY 1.2 -status of implementation of the IMO instruments and ACTIVITY 1.3 “Discuss and plan accession to the “Voluntary IMO Member State Audit Scheme – VIMSAS”. • National Coordinator attended 2 meetings held by British Embassy, who coordinates the international donor support for the maritime management in Caspian for Kazagstan
