  1. Searching for State Contracts There are three ways to search the Office of General Services site for State Contracts: • Contract Description • Group Number • Award Number On the following pages are step by step directions for each of the above listed ways. Please carefully read the directions as the links to the pertinent OGS web pages will be at the end of each of the sections.

  2. Contract Description Search • You can search for state contracts by simply entering a description of the product or service you are looking for. • The next several pages will provide a step by step way to find a state contract with a Contract Description.

  3. You will need to go to the page on the right and enter the Description of the item you are looking to procure in the designated box and click the Search button. Description of the item Search Button

  4. For our example, we are looking for Computer Furniture. Enter Computer Furniture and click the Search button.

  5. You will be taken to a screen similar to this. All contracts where the words Computer Furniture appear will be listed. A search of each of the contracts will be needed to find the correct one.

  6. Once the link on the results page is selected you will be taken to the contract. The contract may be several hundred pages in length, therefore you may want to review it on screen rather than print the document.

  7. Contract Description Search Link • The following link will allow you to search for the contract based on the Contract Description: Contract Search

  8. Group Number Search • Based on the nature of the product or service each state contract is assigned a Group Number. For example, Paper Products fall into the 23000 range while Software Consulting is in the 76000 range. • The next several pages will provide a step by step way to find a state contract with the Group Number.

  9. You will first need to locate the Group Number of the item that you are looking for. You will need to go to this page and select Ctrl and the F key to search this site.

  10. Enter the item you are looking for and select next. The screen will now look like this. In the Find box enter the item you are looking for and select next.

  11. You will be taken to the first spot where the item is listed. The Group Number will be to the right of the item. For our example, we are looking for Computer Furniture.

  12. Now that you have the Group Number, you will need to go to the page on the right and search for the contract with that Group Number. You will need to enter the Group Number in the designated box and click the Search button. Group Number Search Button

  13. For our example, we will enter 20915 as the Group Number. Enter the Group Number and click the Search button.

  14. You will be taken to this screen. You will need to select the link under Group-Award Description Click here

  15. Once the link is selected you will be taken to a screen that looks like this. The original award document and all amendments will be available here. Select the Award Document link. Award Document Amendments: Could include change of vendors; new products; contact/address changes

  16. Once the link on the results page is selected you will be taken to the contract. The contract may be several hundred pages in length, therefore you may want to review it on screen rather than print the document.

  17. Group Number Search Links • The following link will take you to the page to find the Group Number: Group Number Search • The following link will allow you to search for the contract based on the Group Number: Contract Search

  18. Award Number Search • If you know the Award Number of the contract you are looking for, you can simply enter the number and search the site for that contract. • The next several pages will provide a step by step way to find a state contract with an Award Number

  19. You will need to go to the page to the right and enter the Award Number of the item you are looking to procure in the designated box and click the Search button. Search Button Award Number

  20. For our example, we will enter 20551, the Award Number for Computer Furniture. Enter the Award Number and click the Search button.

  21. You will be taken to this screen. You will need to select the link under Group-Award Description Click here

  22. Once the link is selected you will be taken to a screen that looks like this. The original award document and all amendments will be available here. Select the Award Document link. Award Document Amendments: Could include change of vendors; new products; contact/address changes
