Referred Cases 1,221 cases were referred to settlement conference. 1,101 conferences were paid for in Fiscal Year 2011-12. 864cases have been captured and are graphically displayed on the following charts. 327 cases are pending receipt of reports or actual conference. 30cases were cancelled before reaching conference.

Length of Conferences The average length of a conference is 3.2 hours.
Referring Circuit Courts • Virginia Beachhas referred 16% of the cases during Fiscal Year 2011-12. • 71%of all FY11-12 cases were referred by 10 courts in the Tidewater Area (Hampton, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, James City/Williamsburg, Norfolk, Newport News, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, York and Chesapeake). • 29%of the cases in FY11-12 were referred by 65 other courtsacross Virginia. • A total of 75 circuit courts referred cases during the fiscal year.
