STATE AGENCY FOR METROLOGY AND TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE Awareness on the producers responsibility in the implementation of LVD - insufficient The awareness campaigns on the implementation of LVDare insufficient and not comprehensively understood by the small number of producers of electrical appliances in Bulgaria which leads to the affixing of Со marking without performing conformity assessment of the product PROBLEMS

STATE AGENCY FOR METROLOGY AND TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE Awareness on the importers responsibility in the implementation of LVD - insufficient Some importers deliver goods (predominantly made in China) from storage houses for Eastern Europe located in Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, etc. They do not have direct access to the producers in order to provide the technical dossier of the products and they affix Co marking without any grounds for that PROBLEMS

STATE AGENCY FOR METROLOGY AND TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE Necessity of a data base with relevant information on the implementation of LVD (standards, products, etc.) accessible to all participants in the “institutional triangle” – producers, laboratories, regulatory bodies including market surveillance PROBLEMS
