Why is it important to have a variety of animals in the Bay ? It is important to have a variety of living things in the Bay because Blue Crabs have a food chain . The widgeon grass is important to the Bay because there is a food chain . The el grass is important to the Bay because they feed other livings . My research will show that blue crabs ,widgeon grass ,and el grass are important to the Bay.
The Blue Crab The blue crab is important to the Bay because they have a food chain . Blue crabs will eat dead animals and plants and liter .Eel, drum spot ,Atlantic Croaer ,striped bass [ rock fish ],catfish all eat blue crabs .
Widgeon Grass Wigeon grass is important to the bay because there is a food chain and boaters relized an under water land made by the grass and its cousin to help other animals .
Eel Grass The Ell Grass is important to the Bay because they feed other living things. They have bin used for mulch and Mexican food . Canada geese ,widgeon ,black ducks ,and green turtles eat eel grass .The eel grass make there own food .
Conclusion In conclusion I learned that Blue crabs eat dead animals and liter from the ocean and the land , I also learned that grass from the Bay can be very important to us because one of the grasses called the widgeon grass made an underwater meadows that help animals survive .
