Red giant • A Red giant is a luminous giant star of low or intermediate mass in a late phase of stellar evolution. • The sun will turn into a red giant in about four billions years. • Red giant forms when a star runs out of hydrogen fuel.
Neutron star • Neutron stars are stars that collapsed under gravity. • Made of neutrons • Forms during super nova explosions(occurs when star runs out of fuel) of massive stars. • Forms from core of collapsing star condensing the core into a sphere.
White dwarf • White dwarfs are remains of a star that collapsed. • Consists of electron degenerated matter. • Form from collapse of stellar cores in which nuclear fusion has stopped. • Consist of carbon and oxygen. • Might end up a neutron star or a black hole depending on the mass they are born with.
