JOHANNESBURG - South African police have arrested a 25-year-old man Nov.22,suspected of attempting to smuggle(走私) 220 diamonds out of the country in his digestive tract through the airport.The Lebanese(黎巴嫩人)bound for (飞往)Dubai had swallowed $2.25 million worth of diamonds before he was stopped before a security checkpoint at Africa's biggest airport and then relieved of his cargo(货物), police said. "We used laxatives(泻药) to remove the diamonds," police spokesman said on Thursday.The man will appear in court on Thursday.
