  2. Personalize Your Summer 2015 • Lathrop Intermediate School proudly presents different Summer Programs here on the Spartans campus this summer. • There are two programs for students from 6th – 8th grades • Summer Bridge • Engage 360 Be Respectful Be Responsible Be Safe

Summer Bridge AVID Program • Incoming 7th & 8th Grade AVID students • Grade 7 will take Science • Grade 8 will take Mathematics • When: • July 6, 2015 – July 29, 2015, • Monday through Thursday from 8:30 – 12:45 • Where: • Lathrop Intermediate School • Application Process: • A letter is being mailed home for registration • First comes first serves basis for the first 25 students in each grade level (7th & 8th) • Application is to be turned in to Ms. Rangel, Main Office • Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2015. Summer Bridge Transition Program • Incoming 6th Grade Students • Introduction to Middle School • Opportunity to build a strong foundation for literacy and mathematics • Informational texts & Mathematical Practices focus via the use of technology • When: • July 6, 2015 – July 29, 2015, • Monday through Thursday from 8:30 – 12:45 • Where: • Lathrop Intermediate School • Application Process: • A letter will be mailed home during the week of May 26, 2015 • First comes first serves basis for the first 100 students • All application is due to Ms. Rangel in the Main Office • Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2015 Be Respectful Be Responsible Be Safe

  5. Summer School for Incoming 9th Grade Students • Summer School will be taken place at your own high school • For more information regarding registration and summer school, please contact your high school Be Respectful Be Responsible Be Safe

  6. Engage 360 • Incoming 6th-8th Grade Students • Academic Enrichment Programs • The program will concentrate on the following areas: literacy, math, enrichment and FUN! • When: • Tuesday, June 23, 2015 – Wednesday, July 29, 2015 • Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 12:00pm • Where: • Lathrop Intermediate School • Application Process: • An application has already been passed out during the week of May 4, 2015 • Complete Engage 360 Summer Enrollment Form • Submit applications to the front office • First-come, first-served basis for the initial 120 students • Deadline: Friday, June 12, 2015 Be Respectful Be Responsible Be Safe
