Buying Microsoft Office for Home • Buy MS Office, latest versions, for home use • CCSF Faculty and Staff (separate URL for students) • Must obtain and send in order form from Web • Must prove employment at CCSF • Copy of Pay Stub or letter from dept head • Great Deal! Adding new software • Most Windows users can’t install programs • All Mac users can install programs • If system fails: ITS can restore to original configuration • Backup Data • Keep program install disks and serial numbers • Check with ITS before installing software that affects the network • E.g. chat, server-based programs, streaming media City College of San Francisco: Technology Learning Center
