The Next Generation of Grant Wood AEA • Produce positive impact on all students across multiple dimensions. • Create and deliver integrated solutions to sets of client problems. • Recognize the worth of staff and assure they have the materials, equipment, and support to contribute their gifts and expertise and to do their work well. • Help LEA’s define their unique sets of problems in a holistic way. • Develop strong client relationships characterized by openness, shared learning, and trust. • Support the DE in deploying initiatives effectively for other Agency clients. • Judiciously and efficiently use educational resources in the service of clients.
The Next Generation of Grant Wood AEA • Teams that are opportunity-creating and: • are presented challenging work; • have opportunities to teach and learn from colleagues; • have opportunities to innovate; • can see the impact of their work. • Dynamic structures that continually match internal competency with client need. • A set of internal support units that are managed to provide highly effective, efficient, and aligned services to the agency at large.

The Next Generation AEA Service Delivery System will: • Determine and deliver consistent and similar services to similar populations across AEA 10 • Provide high-quality, integrated services to our clients using best practices and research-based strategies • Create and implement efficient streamlined procedures and processes • Design meaningful and relevant learning opportunities that balance discipline needs with agency initiatives • Create results-oriented measures that reflect what professionals, families and children value • Provide for flexibility in how we select deliver and evaluate our services in conjunction with professional guidelines
