  2. Childcare @ Johnson Elementary • Tues. Dec. 10 and 17 • Thurs. Dec. 5 and 12 • 6-8:40pm (3 volunteers per day)

  3. Reindeer Run • When: Saturday, December 7th(7-10 or 1030 AM) • Where: Volunteer check-in is in front of the Museum on Wesley Street in downtown Wheaton • What: Course marshals, handing out refreshments, etc. • 30 Volunteers Needed! • (Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt)

  4. Breakfast with Santa • When: Dec. 7th , 8:00am – 10:30am • Where: Courtyard Banquets, 3S200 Illinois 59, Warrenville, IL 60555 • What: Helping serve breakfast • 6 VolunteersNeeded!

  5. OLD EVENTS

  6. Christmas Sharing (MANY SPOTS OPEN) • When: Monday Dec 9th –Wednesday 11th (4-6), Friday Dec 13th (530-9), Saturday Dec 14th (830-3) • What: Helping sort Christmas gifts • Where: Community Baptist Church, 28W444 Main Street, Warrenville, IL

  7. Donuts With Santa (FULL) • When: Sat. Dec. 7 8:30-11 am (15 spots) • Where: Wheaton Community Center (1777 S Blanchard St) • What: Helping serve kids/be “elves” and help Santa out!

  8. Christmas Gift Sorting (FULL) • When: Sunday, December 8, 3 - 5 or 6pm • Where: 465 Randy Road  Carol Stream (north on Wheaton’s Main Street (which becomes Schmale), past North Ave., L on Randy Rd) • What: Sorting Christmas gifts for senior citizens • 8-10 volunteers Needed!

  9. Santa’s Elves (FULL) • When: Sat. Dec. 7 9:45-12:30 (5 Spots) • Where: Loretto Center (1600 Somerset, Wheaton) • What: Help out at a children’s Christmas party and clean up afterwards.

  10. Polar Express (FULL) • When: Sat. Dec. 7 and Sun. Dec. 8 9am-1pm (3 Spots/Day) • Where: Wheaton train station on West and Front St • What: Be Santa’s helpers, walk around the train and talk to the kids, hand out cookies and milk and sing Christmas Carroll's. Please dress in festive fun holiday attire.

  11. Candy Cane Hunt (FULL) • When: Fri. Dec. 6 5:30-8 pm (10 Spots) • Where: Northside Park (Meet at Warning Shelter) 1300 N West St, Wheaton • What: Helping kids in the flashlight candy cane hunt. Dress for the weather.

  12. Pediatric Drive Donation • What: CDH children 12 and under • Items due Dec. 18th!!! • What: Rattles, teethers, small baby bath toys, coloring books, crayons, hair bows, lip gloss, matchbox cars, toy plastic animals, tonka trucks, markers, legos, etc.

  13. Long Term Events • PADS- 5-10 volunteers • First Monday of the Month (next one is Dec. 2nd) • 530-8pm @ Wheaton Episcopal Church • Lincoln Students Tutoring – 10 volunteers • AldersgateUnited Methodist Church, 1753 S Blanchard, • Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 PM. • Connection of Friends - • Tues, Wed, Thurs 3-6pm, and Saturday nights from 6-9pm • Power Hour Tutoring – Tues/Wed in Edison LLC 3:10-4:20pm • WDSRA –116 N. Schmale Rd; Carol Stream, IL. 60188 • Peoples’ Resource Center • See us if interested
