  6. Personal/Social ….. • Individual • Meet 1 0n 1 with student privately • Small Group • Groups that meet about a specific purpose/cause (ie. Loss/Grief, At Risk, New Students, etc) • Classroom • Per teacher requests to cover specific issues

  7. Academic….. • Courses/Credits • Making sure students take the right courses and credits needed to meet graduation requirements. • Grades • Motivating students to well. • Schedules • Scheduling students into appropriate classes.

  8. Career….. • Career Cruising • Job Shadowing • Coop • Internship • Work Experience • Career Connection

Our General Theme for each year when working with Students ….. • Grade 9 = TRANSITION • To get a good start in the high school • Grade 10 = EXPLORATION • What to do in the high school & beyond • Grade 11 = PLANNING • Start putting a plan together for after high school (where to go & what to do) • Grade 12 = DECISION • Putting the plan into motion

  11. Enrollment Process & Schedule • Distribution of Course Selection Instructions - December • Input Courses into Course Planner - January • Freshmen Schedules will be available in August.
