  1. Radio Free Europe A surrogate to a free pas in which free flow of information is banned banned by government or not fully developed. They try to give people what they cannot get locally free uncensored news, responsible decisions, and open debates.

  2. Mission The mission to radio free Europe was to promote democratic values. Also it was reporting the news in countries where a free pass is banned by the government.

  3. Propaganda • Radio Free Europe constitutes as propaganda because there was propaganda balloons floating over the iron curtain from Germany.

  4. This picture is trying to say that people want there freedom.

  5. People want the truth. They want to know what others tell them instead of a lie.

  6. Everyone should speak for themselves. Because every voice counts.

  7. The Radio Free Liberty and the Radio Liberty were made seperately in 1950’s. But then merged in 1970’s. there was a collection of 10.5 million pages of documents, and 100,000 sound recordings. RFE has 23 million people in 28 languages and 21 countries. Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Russia was included. RFE is funded by a grant from Broadcasting Board of Governments.

  8. The RFE and RL were funded and overseen by the Central Intelligence Agency until 1971.
