  3. With that in MIND I have adopted the THEME “Many Hands Make Light Work” For THE Rotary Club of Eltham

  4. INVOLVEMENT = OWNERSHIP = RETENTION. Think about it - A ROTARIAN should be PROACTIVE rather than REACTIVE.

  5. PRESTONE’S KEY OBJECTIVES

  6. SURVEY – 58% knew what ROTARY is. • About 16% had never heard of ROTARY • 42% have little or no understanding. • ACTION: • PR Committee continuing to work with Leader Press and Chamber of Commerce. • Membership Committee targeting specific groups • e.g Festival Sponsors, Medical Profession • Placing RDU Magazine in Waiting Rooms of Businesses • RAISE the PROFILE of ROTARY in • ELTHAM and DIAMOND VALLEY.

  7. 2. Give ALL MEMBERS greater INVOLVEMENT In Club ACTIVITIES. ACTION • Specific non-onerous or time consuming projects related to Club Projects. e.g. Red Shield Appeal, Eltham Festival, • Reminders about Duty Team obligations

  8. 3. Increase FELLOWSHIP ACTIVITIES. • Intra Club and Inter Club. • Kinglake/Marysville “Retail Therapy” • Sunday Lunch at the AUSTRIAN CLUB.
