  4. Guided fill in notes and organizers • Teacher modeling of good note taking • Group note taking • Self sufficient note taking by end of year • Two colors of pens- crucial for success Note taking

  5. Current events- 1 per marking period • Notebook of numbered pages which is spot checked and graded • Individual and group projects • Mini Research Projects • HW~ 3 nights per week • Tests~ 5 days notice, weighted twice • Quizzes~ may be unannounced, usually 3 days notice Student Responsibilities

  6. Powerschool lists all grades • My website lists homework assignments • Gold calendar on website lists quizzes, tests, project due dates, current event due dates • dbokach@bhpsnj.org • Email is the quickest way to reach me • Please remind students that an important part of their success this year will be asking for help when needed.
