Habitat • Polar Bears live in the Arctic areas of Alaska, Canada , Greenland , Norway and Russia. • They spend much of their time swimming. • They are found in the coldest parts of the Arctic near the North Pole.
Adaptations • They have two thick layers of fur to keep them warm in cold weather. • They have blubber (fat) under their skin to keep them warm. • They can blend into the snow with their white fur coats so their prey can’t see them.

About Them • Adults weigh up to 300-600 kilograms. • They measure up to 2-2.5 m. (6.6-8.2 f) in length. • The biggest polar bear weighed 1002 kilograms. • The Canadian 2 dollar coin has a polar bear on it.
