  3. Noteworthy features include a "SCHAMROTH pattern" in lead I (recall: that this is an isoelectric P-QRS-T in lead I indicating COPD. However, this is not one of the choices provided. Also, note the markedly long Q to onset of T (QoT interval ) indicating hypocalcemia Regarding the options------- --Hyperparathyroidism ----would result in hypercalcemia --Diabetic Ketoacidosis ----hyperkalemia would be expected -Hyperaldosleronism ---would cause hypokalemia -Pancreatitis ---can increase free fatty acids. These combine with CA++ and result in hypocalcemia.
