  12. Treasury - Commercial Paper • Commercial Paper (CP) is short term debt issued for terms between one and 270 days • The CP trader works with dealers to sell Deere CP to investors to provide funding for entities in the U.S., Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands

Typical Daily CP Duties • Assist in determing daily interest rates to be paid on CP issuances • Work with dealers daily to issue required CP • Interact with Deere personnel worldwide to determine funding needs • Prepare management reports to compare CP issuance against established benchmarks • Invest the roughly $3 billion in Deere & Company cash
