Influenza Vaccine Coverage in IIAS • Current IIAS does NOT capture the following new influenza vaccine codes: • Flu-LAIV4 • Flu-IIV4 • Flu-IIV4pf • Flu-ccIIV3 • Flu-RIV3 • Therefore current influenza vaccine coverage estimates for the 2013-2014 are an UNDERESTIMATE

IIAS Report Week 41Influenza Vaccine Coverage* by Age Group * Because the IIAS is not currently capturing the newer flu vaccine codes, this is an underestimate
Influenza Vaccine Coverage*Week 41 * Because the IIAS is not currently capturing the newer flu vaccine codes, this is an underestimate
Influenza Vaccine Coverage* by IHS Area, Week 41 * Because the IIAS is not currently capturing the newer flu vaccine codes, this is an underestimate
Summary • Influenza activity is low • Flu vaccination activities are underway • 12% of active clinical users have been vaccinated* • To date, over 137,793 doses have been administered* to active clinical patients vs. 135,792 doses this same time last year • Flu vaccine coverage* ranges from 7.3% (Alaska) to 23.1% (Tucson) • I/T/U sites should run their influenza coverage reports WEEKLY and follow up with people who have not yet been vaccinated * Because the IIAS is not currently capturing the newer flu vaccine codes, this is an underestimate
