Group A • Group A: • provides overall management of planning process including scope of work/timelines/maintains records and minutes/posts agendas • coordinates with existing plans: general plan, downtown plan, neighborhood plan • determines in-house responsibilities and what to contract w/consultants, contract administration
Group A • Group A: (cont’d) • writes RFQ/RFP for outside consultants/final approval by governing body • determines oversight/approval process and citizen review process • considers library policies that impact design issues • determines any necessary environmental review process
Group A • Group A:(cont’d) • determines overall image of library and public art • coordinates public information/media relations • coordinates community support/input • develops operating budget for new library
Group B • Group B: • builds community support for new library • facilitates community involvement • may participate in or lead capital campaign
