  2. Gametogênese • Introdução É o processo de formação de gametas – espermatozóides e óvulos.

  3. Gametogênese • Espermatogênese  Ocorre nos testículos.  Inicia-se na puberdade (11-14 anos) e continua por toda a vida.  Importância dos hormônios testosterona e folículo estimulante (FSH).

  4. Gametogênese • Ovulogênese  Ocorre nos ovários.  Inicia-se no desenvolvimento embrionário; na puberdade ocorre a fase de maturação.  Importância dos hormônios folículo estimulante (FSH)eluteinizante (LH).

  5. Gametogênese Fecundação (ou fertilização)
