Co-Dependence means you feel obligated to make excuses for someone else so they don’t get in trouble, or so they don’t feel the consequences of their own actions. • This only makes the situation worse and can potentially impact your status and professional position with our company. You can probably think of times you covered up for someone at home or at work. • Eventually, you probably felt bad about it. • You may have observed someone doing something wrong, or even dangerous, but you thought it was best just to look the other way and keep quiet. • This is called “nabling”.
