  5. Economy and climate • Flat land • Atlantic coastal plains • Swamp land with over 30,000 acres • Mild climate • Warm summers mild winters that are suited for farming

  6. Interesting Facts • Referred as the bread basket colony. • It was the eighth founded colony. • It was referred as bread basket colony because Delaware has good soil meant for farming.
