There is a man, when he picks up a newspaper,he always reads the obituary first of all. He seriously reads every single line from the obituary,even he does not know the person who passed away.
His friend curiously asks him why doing so... The man answers: Oh! I just want to say thank you to these persons.
His friend stares at him with eyes wild open and says: • What! I don’t understand what you’re saying. You mean you want to say thank you to these dead people, and you don’t even know them!Is there any problem with your mind?
The man answers to his friend: • Yes.I solemnly thank these people. Because their departures remind me that life is always impermanent.The death happens unexpectedly and haphazardly at any moment.
When alive, these people also had hope and planning, success and frustration,struggle and fighting,happiness and jealousy.Then suddenlythey became the dead bodies waiting for being cremated or buried deep under ground.
These people had used their own lives to remind me the most important lesson of life. Aren’t they deserved a thank you note, my dear friend?
