Functional Objectives and Principles The data recorded to reflect relationships between works, expressions, manifestations, and items should enable the user to: a) find works, expressions, manifestations, or items that are related to those retrieved in response to the user’s search b) understand the relationship between two or more works or expressions represented by preferred access points.
