Bethel University at Scarritt-Bennett Center The Global Pathways Program is designed for students who: • Need Language Enhancement • Want to: • enter Bethel University • transfer to another University • improve their GPA and enhance their transcript with transferrable credits Your path to your degree

  3. The Scarritt-Bennett Center Campus Bethel’s School of Global Studies is located on an eleven-acre pastoral setting in mid-town Nashville, two blocks from Vanderbilt University and close to 15 degree awarding institutions.

  4. The Scarritt-Bennett Center Campus • We anticipate 30-50 students in the first cohort. • The program is expected to grow to 200 students • At that point we will evaluate enrollment to ensure that we can continue to provide individual attention to all of our students.

First Semester • English as a Second Language I (beginning, intermediate, advanced) • Developmental Reading(beginning, intermediate, advanced) • Developmental Writing (beginning, intermediate, advanced) • Developmental Conversational English (beginning, intermediate, advanced) • Religion: World Religions • American Culture (Travel Study Trips)

Second & Third Semesters • English as a Second Language II (intermediate, advanced) • Developmental Reading (intermediate, advanced) • Developmental Writing (intermediate, advanced) • American Culture II (Travel Study Trips) • General Education Options include: • United States History • World History • College Algebra • Health • Freshman English • Environmental Science • Old and New Testament

  7. Accommodations Each student has a private room. • Newly renovated • Full bath shared between two rooms
