Colette is responsible for… • Oversee that developments in both print and electronic resources are interlinked with innovations in learning, teaching and research • Management and development of policies and processes • relating to the acquisition and management of all resources • Procurement Officer for the NoWAL consortium (Serials) to ensure value for money on service and products

  5. Learning Services • University drivers in 2013 • Reviewed the Learning Services process and offer • Could do better! • Consulted with Academic Liaison staff around what multidisciplinary resources could be beneficial • Consulted with Lending Services staff round operational procedures

Licenses • Review of licenses in summer 2013 found very little was possible! • Started discussions with 2 providers JSTOR and Emerald • Newer licenses for Sage Journals and Project Muse included access • Always take a look in close detail – see what might be on offer • Funding – all out of existing subscriptions budget
