SNOW WHITE BACKGROUND • Awards/ Achievements: • Disney won an honorary Academy Award for his pioneering achievement • The first animated feature to be produced in English and in Technicolor • History: • Snow white and the seven dwarfs is based on the fairy tale, by the Brothers Grimm, Snow White. • Snow White premiered in Hollywood on December 21, 1937. • Disney released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on February 4, 1938.
