To train students to identify research issues, undertake independent research and communicate their research content to various types of audience.   4. PhD program Scholarship for PhD: 4 years Maximum candidacy: 5 years. Coursework and CAP requirements for PhD: Minimum 6 modules (4@L6000 level); CAP ≥ 3.5: Qualifying Examination (QE): Written QE : general and specialized papers Oral QE : research proposal Thesis Examination
