The Expanding Expression Tool (EET) Each bead represents a part of a paragraph written about an object or an event: Green: Group? Blue: What does it do? Eye: What does if look like? Natural: What is it made of? Pink: Parts? White: Where? Question: What else do I know?
The Expanding Expression Tool (EET) Students use the colored beads or cards to verbalize and write ideas within a graphic organizer. This process helps the student to verbalize the object and/or event within its group, function, attribute, materials, location, and parts.
The Expanding Expression Tool (EET) Students transfer ideas from graphic organizer into completed thoughts within the written piece.
