CONFIRMATION OF CLASS STATEMENT FOR REGISTRATION PURPOSES • Change of flagforexisting tonnage / prior toregistration (vetting) • Confirmation of Class • Class Society Statement or Affidavit* in addition to the Confirmation of Class containing the following four (4) key elements: • list of existing conditions, recommendations in vessel’s class that are outstanding at the date of the statement; • list of statutory certificates, which the vessel’s Class Society is prepared to issue on behalf of the Administrator; • list status of all current relevant statutory surveys, setting forth the dates of completion of each; and • an indication of any reasons, to the extent known by the Class Society, why the vessel is presently not fit to proceed to sea prior to the completion of outstanding(s). If there are no apparent reasons known to the Class Society, this should be so stated. • 15 years, report recent intermediate or special survey (H&M). All of the above to be issued within 10 days of registration 20
