ANM 100 ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE MISSION STATEMENT The Center for New Media’s purpose is to offer career-based, industry-standard instruction for students to ensure each has the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for successful employment in the new media industry. It provides a creative and open learning environment by allowing students to combine coursework to achieve certificates and associates degrees in animation, game art, graphic design, illustration, web design, time-based media and web production technology..

ANM 100 ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE Course Description This course provides an overview of the functionality and use of the Adobe Creative Suite: specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign as they pertain to the creation of communication publication. Students will explore basic layout and design principles, color theory, and reproduction processes in the creation of various printed publications (newsletters, brochures, fliers, business cards, etc.) as well as scanning, file formatting, and preflighting/packaging documents for printing. Emphasis will be on hands-on lab work.
