  4. Troubleshooting Remote Access • VPN Connections • Remote Desktop • Remote Assistance

  5. Troubleshooting VPN Connections • Check for Internet access • Verify there is no firewall blocking VPN • Verify VPN settings • Server name or address • Security settings • Network settings

  6. Troubleshooting Remote Desktop • Check for firewall • Verify general connectivity to the destination machine • Is the host using NLA?

  7. Troubleshooting Remote Assistance • Invitation files • Invitation Session • Windows Vista only session? • Verify the “Offer Remote Assistance Helpers” group
