Introduction • Distance education on Network Security Audit. • Activity for AIII Multimedia WG. • Held on October 2003. • Participating sites • USM, Malaysia (speaker). • Temasek Polytechnic , Singapore. • ASTI, Philippines.
Setup • AI3 star topology satellite network. • C-Band bdl network. • 1.5Mbps down link and 512Kbps uplink. • MCSv5 Video conferencing system. • MCS server + MLIC located at KDDI lab, Tokyo XP.
Traffic Route. • Each sites will send video and audio streams to MLIC server at Tokyo. • MLIC will then redirect the streams to other sites.
Achievements • Supports 3 remote sites. • Malaysia (USM) • Singapore (Temasek Polytechnic) • Philippines (ASTI). • Smooth 15 frames motion picture. • Full duplex audio. • Real time document conference. • Power point presentation.
