    2. Recurrence Suturing of the tendons tightly and longitudinally. Shortening and tethering of tendons. Inadequate splinting at post operatively & maintenance phase. Iatrogenic or missed tarsal coalition at the time of surgery.

    3. Materials and Methods Prospective study (Jan 2001-June 2002) 42 children with 65 Feet - included in the study Matched controls 34 males 8 females. 23 bilateral: Unilateral 23:19
