Scholarships – INTERNAL $15,000.00 $1,500.00 $550.00 $550.00 $17,600.00 Requirement: The Admission Scholarshipwillbeoffered to you on the recommendation of youracademic unit if your cumulative grade-point average (by FGPS calculation) is 8.0/10 or above NO APPLICATION NEEDED – AUTOMATIC!
Scholarships - EXTERNAL Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Fonds de recherche du Québec (for students domiciled in Québec) Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) IMPORTANT!!! At Ottawa U, external scholarship winners have their tuition fee WAIVED! (for the duration of the external scholarship)
Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) • Available to master’s and doctoral students, including international students • Average of 8.0 and above • Up to $15,000 per year 2,000 3,000 awarded per year in Ontario (of which 60 allocated towards international students) * This year: additional 50% more scholarships will be awarded! • Deadline: October 19, 2011 • www.osap.gov.on.ca

START WORKING ON YOUR APPLICATION NOW! Contact potential supervisors (professors)! Approach them courteously, courageously, and show that you read what their research is on! Start preparing your file: research proposal, CV, etc as per instructions provided by each granting agency! Approach profs for REFERENCE LETTERS (normally two!) ATTEND INFORMATION SESSIONS!!!!!
