ITS Public Safety Program • Scope • Full spectrum of transportation-related incidents -- from disabled motor vehicles to large scale natural disasters. • Approach • Bring public safety stakeholders into the ITS Program • Demonstrate interoperable procedures and technologies for public safety and transportation operations.
