What is a campus test coordinator? • Serve as the campus contact for test-related communications • Monitor and maintain test security • Identify and train test administrators • Prepare and distribute test materials on the campus for each administration

Security Oaths • All district and campus personnel who participate in state-mandated testing or handle secure testing materials must sign a security oath. • Test administrators are required to sign only one oath for the 2015 calendar year, with the exception of TELPAS. • Oaths are valid for the 2015 spring, summer and fall testing.

Testing Irregularities It can happen to anyone…
Testing Irregularities • What is an irregularity?? • Incidents resulting in a deviation from documented testing procedures are defined as testing irregularities • They fall into two categories: • Serious • Severe violations of test security or confidentiality • Procedural • Less severe, more common, and typically the result of minor deviations from testing procedures • i.e. wrong test form, not reading directions verbatim
I have an irregularity…now what?!?!?! • Each person participating in the Texas student assessment program is responsible for reporting any violation or suspected violation of test security or confidentiality. • Gather information • Exactly what happened • Who was involved • How or why the error occurred • Call the Student Assessment Office • All staff involved must complete the “Statement from Parties Involved” • Must be printed and signed • Scan to the Student Assessment Office • A Plan of Action must be completed • How can this be prevented from happening again
