Classroom Rules • Listen and follow directions • Come to class prepared • Raise your hand and wait to be called on before speaking • Respect others • Keep hands and feet to yourself • Keep your area clean • Take care of classroom equipment and materials • Always try to perform better than you did the day before

Homework Policy • Homework will be given daily (Monday-Thursday) and due on a daily basis. • Homework will be given on Friday only to those students who do not complete homework or class work during the week. • Students who do not complete homework will lose recess or receive an afternoon detention
Homework Policy • Students who do not come to school prepared with books, homework, and student planner will lose recess or receive an afternoon detention. • Homework is given as a review of California State Standards previously taught. • Daily reading at home is essential for your child’s success in fifth grade.
