  4. Purpose • Create positive after school experience • Exposure to new things • Learn about community service • Have FUN!!

  5. Clay • Be creative with a new medium • Learn steps from start to finish

  6. Nutrition • Learn kitchen safety • Basic food preparation skills • Reading directions • Have fun learning about nutrition

  7. Crafts • Experience new mediums of creativity • Make gifts for friends, family and the community • Work on fine motor skills

  8. Animals • Learn basic animal terminology • Uses for animals • Learn how animals change through time and why • Hands on experience

  9. Homework Time • Structured, mandatory homework time • One on one help

  10. Community Service • May Day gifts for senior center
