The Process • School Leadership Team developed school-wide goals based on county goals and expectations • Grade-level teams worked together to develop goals based on school goals • Individual teachers then developed goals based on their team goals • Goals at every level focused on the areas of need identified within the 5-Year Strategic Plan (Reading Language Arts, Math, Technology) • All teachers, counselors, administrators, specialists, and speech pathologists created individual goals
Leadership Team: Provide a Stronger Framework for Student Support Systems Goal: To increase WESTEST 2 scores by 8% Action Steps: Implementation of technology, Data Notebooks, IPI, and DOK
PK-2nd Grade Team Goals • Example: PK-K Team Technology Goal Action Steps: Use of class mini-labs/mouse control • Example: 1st Grade Team Reading Goal Action Steps: Small Group Instruction/Learning Focused • Example: 2nd Grade Team Math Goal Action Steps: Everyday Math Strategies
