  13. Web Redesign Project • Overall Objective: • Standardize the look and feel of all dept/ctr/pgm web sites throughout the School of Medicine & UNC Health Care

  17. Web Redesign Project (cont.) • Where are we now? • Over 200 School of Medicine sites (and counting) in Plone! • 2 training classes (Intro and Hands-On) offered twice a month; usually full capacity • Gearing up to migrate to Plone3

Microsoft SharePoint • What is SharePoint?Ultimate Collaboration Tool (calendars, wikis, blogs, document sharing, custom lists, custom workflows, etc.) • HostingCurrently offered on main campus via the Windows Infrastructure group • School of Medicine Implementation • Beginning with pilot groups • Plan on promoting SharePoint as the primary collaboration tool for the school
