T-Mobile Germany integrated the c.a.r.u.s. XTC Content, Services & Payment Platform in Q1/2001 In 2002, T-Mobile decided to roll out XTC within the European T-Mobile family. The European proof of the international blueprint has been accomplished in 2003: T-Mobile Netherlands (September 2003) T-Mobile Czech Republic (September 2003) The European roll-out was conducted in 2004: T-Mobile Austria (July 2004) T-Mobile UK (August 2004) PTC ERA, Poland (planned for Q4/2004) Roll-out in 2005 under discussion for additional T-Mobile affiliates Based on the designed XTC blueprint architecture, all implementations have been successfully brought into production in a very short time frame(< 3 months). Lessons learned International management of requirements is necessary. Earlier organisational setup of international coordination would have prevented regional issues. Centralised training and first-level support for all national operators helped to prevent duplication of efforts. Pay-anything with your telephone invoice will become one of the standard payment methods. Customers will demand for more services in real-time, like Video Streaming and Online Multiparty Gaming. Customers will demand these service wherever they are. Thus new concepts for Content Roaming are required.
