Pediatric Inpatient Teams • General Pediatrics Ward Services (2 Resident Teams) • Staffed by Pediatric Hospitalists and Med-PedsAttendings • Two residents on each team • Two - Three interns on each team • Two 3rd year medical students on each team • Subspecialty Pediatrics Ward Services (1 Team) • Staffed by Pediatric Subspecialist Attendings • Endocrine, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology • Two – Three residents (upper level + interns) on the team • 56 Hospital Beds • Over 7,000 admissions per year
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit • 12 bed unit • Multidisciplinary care • Trauma – General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics • Cardiac – Cardiology • All patients staffed by Pediatric Critical Care Team • 900 admissions average per year • Three - Four resident team • 1 week of night shifts per resident
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit • 60 bed acute and transitional care unit • 850 admissions average per year • Residents • One senior level resident • Two - Three junior level residents and/or interns
