Vocabulary Lesson 2: • Patriot-A colonist who was against the British rules and supported the rebel cause in the America Colonies. • Loyalist-A person who supported the British government during the America Revolution. • Neutral-Not taking a side in the disagreement. • Pacifist-A believer in the peaceful settlement of difference. • Regiment-A large, organize group of soldiers.
Vocabulary Lesson 3: • Enlist-To join. • Turning point-A single event that cause important and dramatic change.
Vocabulary Lesson 4: • Traitor-One who works against one’s own government. • Negotiate-To talk with another to work out an agreement. • Principle-A rule that is used in deciding how to behave.
