Goals of the project • create awareness of the telework advantages in the business and research communities in the CIS countries; • study and promote the experience and best practices of telework in the EU countries; • identify local telework problems; • develop new EU-CIS contacts in the telework area; • develop new business telework systems "Technical aspects of telework"

  4. Bringing the best IST and EU telework solutions to the CIS countries • which IST projects, which EU teleworking tools or methodologies can be the best for the use in the CIS countries? • which operational EU-CIS business teleworking systems can be the best to show them as positive or negative experience of teleworking? • what are the local telework problems and how the particular CIS country is ready for the telework? TELESOL: aspects of the telework • state of communications, technical development, necessary hardware/software… • legal, financial, fiscal; • cultural diversity in cross-country telework; • management of the synchronous work, quality control, certification, telework personnel development; • building the trust between teleworking entities; • distributed office as a telework within one company; • tele-medicine; • tele-education "Technical aspects of telework"

TELESOL: expected practical results • operational business teleworking systems; • web-sites and Telework Competence Centers in the CIS countries; • conference and workshops; • training of interested audience • What this will give us: • better understanding of the local telework problems; • telework competence centers as the focal points for addressing telework issues; • new contacts and new telework projects "Technical aspects of telework"
