Setting :The Boat • “the cry was pinched off short as the blood-warm waters of the Caribbean sea closed over his head.” “He struggled up to surface and tried to cry out, but the wash from the speeding yacht slapped him in the face, and the salt water in his open mouth made him gag and strangle”. • When Rainford was curious and brave trying to see what was coming he ended up falling in the water and the boat smacked him in the face. But If Rainford did not know how to swim How does he manage to get out of the water.

Setting: Castle • “A man who has been hiding in the curtain of t he bed was standing there”. “Rainsford screamed the General, How in the Gods name did you get in here.” • Rainsford was hiding in the General’s room . I think since the General was hunting Rainsford why didn’t he kill him right then and there before Rainsford killed him? I think Zaroff was scared of Rainsford since he won the most dangerous game .
