  7. . Remedial Action • Free education for women • Provide extra incentives for families that have more than one girl child • Educate her and provide her the same opportunities as a male child • Encourage marriage of males to educated women. • Change mentality of common people.

Effect on Society • Unnatural Gender ratio (only 850 girls against 1000 boys) • Cases of Kidnapping, rape and molestation goes up • Illegal marriages • Rules and regulations for doing abortion are increasing. Therefore those who really need to go for abortion due to emergency situation are suffering. • Modern Drupadi • Boys will be forced to be gay
